CPR & AED Training

Performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on someone in sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple their chance of survival. We’re helping strengthen our communities out-of-hospital survival rates with Hands-Only CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training events.

Impact of CPR

Communities that have increased out-of-hospital survival rates have done so through public awareness campaigns, widespread training in Hands-Only CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, as well as the placement of AEDs in public locations. Leading the Nation in 2016 is Seattle, Washington, whose out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rate is 56% (the average survival rate for the remainder of the U.S. – if CPR is not administered in the first four to six minutes – is less than 10%).

Gwyneth's Gift Foundation CPR & AED Training Events

Our goal is to achieve similar success in the Commonwealth as we engage citizens in the communities in which they live to provide Hands-Only CPR & AED Training. Our team and volunteers run all training events. Additionally, we have partnered with businesses, hospitals, first responders, schools, and civic organizations to host training events.
