Gwyneth’s Gift is hosting Fredericksburg’s annual Mom Prom at the Fredericksburg Convention Center on April 12, 2025.

Fredericksburg’s Mom Prom will feature cocktails, a signature drink, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, and a whole lot of dancing. Dress your best – anything goes at this ultimate “ladies-only” night out for charity.

This year’s theme, Mom Prom Disco Nights, will take guests through a night full of funky vibes, dazzling lights, and nonstop energy, all while supporting a great cause. A groovy night filled with shimmering disco balls, electrifying beats, and retro flair, our Mom Prom promises to be a far-out celebration.

Guests can take advantage of the complimentary Beauty Bar while sipping on a signature drink.  The night will conclude with a drawing for our Mom Prom Queen, who will walk a way a winner of a themed basket filled with luxurious disco-inspired gifts.

This community event is made possible by Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. 100% of the proceeds will be used towards training and educating the community on the importance of Hands-Only CPR and the use of an AED.

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds for this event. We appreciate your understanding that as a nonprofit organization, all contributions and ticket sales go towards supporting our mission and initiative. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for the event tickets. Your support is invaluable to us, as we look forward to your participation in our cause. Joel Griffin

Chairman & Co-Founder

Joel Griffin is co-founder and chairman of Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. Gwyneth’s Gift was founded in 2015 by Joel and Jennifer Griffin in honor of their oldest daughter, Gwyneth. He is also an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with 25 years of private industry consulting experience and 20 years in government contracting. He is the Founder and CEO of Riphean, a regional growth management firm.

Joel is committed to philanthropy within the region through local nonprofits and organizations that strengthen local communities. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, Stafford Hospital Foundation, and Germanna Educational Foundation. Joel was recognized for his impact and leadership within the region, receiving the Prince B. Woodward Leadership Award in 2022.

In addition to the regional award, Joel received the Valor Award from Loudon County for his life-saving efforts in an emergency. He also received the Patriotic Civilian Service Award given by the U.S. Army for actions taken immediately and following 9/11 at The Pentagon in 2001.
