Annual Gwyneth's Gift Golf Tournament at Fawn Lake

Join us for the 6th Annual Gwyneth’s Gift Golf Tournament-an unforgettable day of championship-level play, great food, and event better company, all for a lifesaving cause. This year, we’re teeing off at the exclusive Fawn Lake Country Club, giving, participants rare access to one of the area’s most beautiful private courses. From tee off, to finish, our tournament offers an elevated experience: a perfectly manicured course, catered meals, and exciting awards with raffles. The atmosphere that’s equal parts competitive and community-focused. 

Proceeds from the tournament support of Gwyneth’s Gift’s mission to save lives through free CPR training and the donation of AEDs across our communities. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just her for the cause, your swing helps give someone a second chance. Don’t miss this opportunity to play with purpose and be part of something bigger than the game. 

The Tournament

Golf carts, continental breakfast, snacks, beverages, contests, and award reception with a delicious steak dinner hosted by Rebellion-FXBG following play are included with registration.

  • Check-in starts at 8:00. Putting green and driving range will be open; bagels and coffee
  • Shotgun start at 9:00 am. Mulligan purchases available day of the tournament
  • Longest Drive, Closest to the Hole, and Hole in One contest

Joel Griffin

Chairman & Co-Founder

Joel Griffin is co-founder and chairman of Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. Gwyneth’s Gift was founded in 2015 by Joel and Jennifer Griffin in honor of their oldest daughter, Gwyneth. He is also an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with 25 years of private industry consulting experience and 20 years in government contracting. He is the Founder and CEO of Riphean, a regional growth management firm.

Joel is committed to philanthropy within the region through local nonprofits and organizations that strengthen local communities. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, Stafford Hospital Foundation, and Germanna Educational Foundation. Joel was recognized for his impact and leadership within the region, receiving the Prince B. Woodward Leadership Award in 2022.

In addition to the regional award, Joel received the Valor Award from Loudon County for his life-saving efforts in an emergency. He also received the Patriotic Civilian Service Award given by the U.S. Army for actions taken immediately and following 9/11 at The Pentagon in 2001.
